Writing Resolutions Kept

It has been six days and counting. Have you kept your writing resolutions so far?

If you met with your MasterMind Writing Group today, what would you have to report? Have you been following the steps in Writer's Secret for a productive network? Are you holding each other accountable, celebrating success and setting actionable goals?

You should. Know why? Because it works.

For those of you in the Sacramento area, we will be meeting on Jan. 14 at Iron Steaks for some accountability and lots of celebrating. There were months in 2009 when I was attending a book launch party a week for members of our scribing community. I look forward to more success stories in 2010.

For those outside the area, I am watching you as well. A quick peek at #resolutions on Twitter shows that you are vowing to:

* "Be my own man in 2010" @tigerteam
* "Change your Handwriting, Change Your Life" @TamarindThai
* "Give up coffee" @anitasethi

I would find that last one difficult, but wish you all success.

Over at #writegoal we tend to take our resolutions one day and 1,000 words at a time. Either way, I hope you are pledging your dedication to a wordy 2010 and celebrating milestones with your fellow scribes.
